The largest event of each year at Bucky Beaver is our auction
fundraiser. The entire auction is planned and coordinated by our
students' parents — from procuring items for the auction, to decorating
the venue, to mailing invitations
and more. This teamwork leads to a great party — and in appreciation of
everyone's support, we promise an evening of good fun, great food, and
complementary beverages.
In 2008, nearly 400 guests were present at the Bucky Beaver auction,
and bidding took place on more than 1,000 donated items. Money raised goes
toward the classroom and supplies, facility renovations and improvements.
We are committed to minimizing tuition increases, so a large amount of
the money raised goes toward the budget deficit, which is not part of
the budget that is covered by tuition.
